Powerful questions lead to powerful answers.

During a phone conversation I recently had and I experienced something that took me back after I was asked a really powerful question.

For the first time, I couldn't answer.

I still attempted to, but then I was asked another powerful question.

I was asked, "How will you really know?"

I want you to consider something. For a moment, imagine you're taking off on a private jet and soon you're at 30,000 feet above the ground. Now visualize doing this with your life.

Look at your life as if you were viewing it as a timeline and you're able to see your accomplishments and trials play out below you.

If it were possible to see your life play out in front of your in this way, what is it that you would want to see? More importantly, what do you want to do with your life?

How will you make the money to accomplish what it is that you want?

Throughout Christianity, there's a lot of conversation about money. What are you currently doing with your money path? The way you earn and the way you spend, is it currently going to give you what it is that you want?

For me, the way that I'm living and HOW I'm living in regards to money, what I invest in, what I profit and spend something that will give me a result that I know I need to make some changes in order to live the lifestyle that I want.

As I look at how I'm living now from the 30,000 foot perspective, if I don't change some things, it's not going to give me want I want in the long run.

I KNOW that if one is not careful, one will spend their entire life working to make money and not have anything to show for it.

If we don't take a look at our physical health, our spirituality, our relationships with our spouse, or how we spend money, we will encounter a series of choices that will lead us through life.

While creating some content after doing some work with my Shield Maiden Mastermind event, designed for women to become more powerful and I learned some important lessons.

The most important:

Association matters.

Who we spend our time with is absolutely critical.

According to the late Jim Rohn, "You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with."

The main 3 lessons that I learned from my most recent Shield Maiden event are:

  1. Your association is more powerful than what you read.
  2. You've got to bring the goods to contribute to the group.
  3. Pretending is exhausting; be a powerful version of yourself.

When you're around other people that are trying to better themselves, it's inspiring to create personal power on a whole new level. It shifts perspectives into having greater fuel to back the platform of building the life that you want to build.

If you look at the candidates in the 2016 Presidential election TODAY, there are actions that they have learned from years ago, so I don't focus on what they did in the past.

I look at who they are TODAY.

Yes, we all make mistakes, but what makes a strong leader is by learning from them and moving forward into becoming a better person today than who we were yesterday.

The same goes for the President of the United States of America.

There have been a LOT of things said about each candidate's past that can only be summed up as non-powerful statements that don't allow us to move forward.

It's non-powerful to get all riled up about something that someone did 20-30 years ago. Yes, it's essential to LEARN from it, but it doesn't do anyone any good holding the past over someone's present and future outlooks.

In order to create the impossible NOW, you cannot be attached to what the past was like then.

Past performance does NOT represent future performance; it's called a change of heart known in Christian scripture as REPENTANCE.

In social media, the victims really came out, in which we saw celebrities state that they were going to leave the country and victims are wanting to blame someone else.

If you live as a victim, you will not be able to see CHANGE.

Who is in the White House does not dictate who you are going to be in your own house, which is your own kingdom.

According to Dr. Frankl, to not live like a victim is to state that they can take everything away from me, but the one thing they cannot take from me is my ability to CHOOSE.

Either you're powerful or your not, depending on whether or not you want to remain a victim or not.

Perspective creates possibility, and powerful people are not victims of circumstance.

You can choose and you can create, and regardless of who is in the White House, you can create your own perspective.
