Powerful questions lead to powerful answers.

During a phone conversation I recently had and I experienced something that took me back after I was asked a really powerful question.

For the first time, I couldn't answer.

I still attempted to, but then I was asked another powerful question.

I was asked, "How will you really know?"

I want you to consider something. For a moment, imagine you're taking off on a private jet and soon you're at 30,000 feet above the ground. Now visualize doing this with your life.

Look at your life as if you were viewing it as a timeline and you're able to see your accomplishments and trials play out below you.

If it were possible to see your life play out in front of your in this way, what is it that you would want to see? More importantly, what do you want to do with your life?

How will you make the money to accomplish what it is that you want?

Throughout Christianity, there's a lot of conversation about money. What are you currently doing with your money path? The way you earn and the way you spend, is it currently going to give you what it is that you want?

For me, the way that I'm living and HOW I'm living in regards to money, what I invest in, what I profit and spend something that will give me a result that I know I need to make some changes in order to live the lifestyle that I want.

As I look at how I'm living now from the 30,000 foot perspective, if I don't change some things, it's not going to give me want I want in the long run.

I KNOW that if one is not careful, one will spend their entire life working to make money and not have anything to show for it.

If we don't take a look at our physical health, our spirituality, our relationships with our spouse, or how we spend money, we will encounter a series of choices that will lead us through life.

While creating some content after doing some work with my Shield Maiden Mastermind event, designed for women to become more powerful and I learned some important lessons.

The most important:

Association matters.

Who we spend our time with is absolutely critical.

According to the late Jim Rohn, "You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with."

The main 3 lessons that I learned from my most recent Shield Maiden event are:

  1. Your association is more powerful than what you read.
  2. You've got to bring the goods to contribute to the group.
  3. Pretending is exhausting; be a powerful version of yourself.

When you're around other people that are trying to better themselves, it's inspiring to create personal power on a whole new level. It shifts perspectives into having greater fuel to back the platform of building the life that you want to build.

If you look at the candidates in the 2016 Presidential election TODAY, there are actions that they have learned from years ago, so I don't focus on what they did in the past.

I look at who they are TODAY.

Yes, we all make mistakes, but what makes a strong leader is by learning from them and moving forward into becoming a better person today than who we were yesterday.

The same goes for the President of the United States of America.

There have been a LOT of things said about each candidate's past that can only be summed up as non-powerful statements that don't allow us to move forward.

It's non-powerful to get all riled up about something that someone did 20-30 years ago. Yes, it's essential to LEARN from it, but it doesn't do anyone any good holding the past over someone's present and future outlooks.

In order to create the impossible NOW, you cannot be attached to what the past was like then.

Past performance does NOT represent future performance; it's called a change of heart known in Christian scripture as REPENTANCE.

In social media, the victims really came out, in which we saw celebrities state that they were going to leave the country and victims are wanting to blame someone else.

If you live as a victim, you will not be able to see CHANGE.

Who is in the White House does not dictate who you are going to be in your own house, which is your own kingdom.

According to Dr. Frankl, to not live like a victim is to state that they can take everything away from me, but the one thing they cannot take from me is my ability to CHOOSE.

Either you're powerful or your not, depending on whether or not you want to remain a victim or not.

Perspective creates possibility, and powerful people are not victims of circumstance.

You can choose and you can create, and regardless of who is in the White House, you can create your own perspective.

We all have dark days.

There are some days that we are discouraged to the point that we can't even see any light in our lives.

That happened within my marriage in which my wife voiced her frustrations and concerns, and I could've retaliated back because I was extremely stressed as well, but I listened.

I REALLY listened.

I didn't try to coach her nor did I try to fix the situation.

I just sat there and listened to what my wife was saying, knowing that the struggles that we had when we were facing bankruptcy years ago wasn't what she signed up for.

So what's today's lesson?

Learn how to be a great listener.

Don't be the person that doesn't know how to hear, let alone isn't willing to listen.

As Stephen R Covey stated, we need to "Seek first to understand and then to be understood." -Stephen R Covey

I had to be man enough to listen to my wife without trying to fix her.

The second part of this is to BE STILL.

Be still, and know that He is God and is aware of where we're at in life, regardless of if we're prospering or collapsing.

During the dark times, we need to learn to  BE STILL.

We all will have a time that we get to the point that we say, "I am Yours" because the despair gets to be too much.

God has delivered me, and I promise that He can deliver you as well.

Whether it's as the Children of Israel with Moses or as the leader in your home, if you are doing your part today, doing everything you know you must do and being who you are meant to be, then BE STILL and know that He is God.

I believe God will help us deal with whatever hardships we're facing, the Refiner's Fire requires us to BE STILL as we humble ourselves and know that God is aware of us.

If you're fatigued, wouldn't you want to know what the problem is?

This was me with my physical body, and even though my wife was telling me to get to the doctor, I was too tired to take the time to do that.

Finally, I decided to finally listen to my wife and went.

I got to the root of the problem.

The only way I could have done that was to ask a lot of questions, but before that, I needed to have a DESIRE to get to the root of the problem in the first place.

If something feels "off" in your life, get to the root.

Have a desire to deal with the problem to get yourself to the point of getting to the root of the problem in the first place.

You need to have a DESIRE to get to the root of the problem.

I started to really analyze what was going on, asking questions within myself, and finally got to the point that I went to the doctor and received some answers for what I've been needing.

Across every aspect of your life, if you're off, ask yourself, "What do I truly want?"

Whether it's your spirituality, your marriage and family, or your body, it all ultimately comes down to you.

Getting to the root of your problem comes down to getting to the root of YOU.

Great parents love their children and want to be with them, so if I want to get to the root of building up my boys, I need to invest in my time to be VALUABLE with them.

This is the same concept that makes a strong and successful business. Make your intention part of asking powerful questions so that you can get powerful answers.

And then listen.

It's not going to do you any good if you ask powerful questions but then get too busy to listen for the answer.

Make sure you're being honest, truthful and transparent about it.

Ask yourself:

* Where in my life can I get to the root of the problem?

* What do I truly want?

* What is my intention to get powerful answers after asking powerful questions?

Incredible things can happen when you get to the ROOT of the problem.

Have you ever been told that you're just not strong enough?

I have.

Don't beat yourself up if this has happened to you as well, but there are 4 main reasons that I have found in my own life that when I fell short on them, I fell short on achieving my end results.

The 4 C's of not getting what what we want are when we fall short with:

  1. Clarity
  2. Capacity
  3. Certainty
  4. Commitment

Clarity gives us what we want and answers the essential question of why it matters.

Capacity is where I fell short with Kokoro. I didn't have the capacity and power to do what I wanted to hit the standards required for this SealFit program. It can ALWAYS be increased.

Between these two, a lot of issues and problems that arise in our lives get resolved.

Certainty is more than just knowing something. We can have knowledge in something, but it requires confidence in knowing WHO YOU ARE in that achievement to attain certainty.

When I played football I had a sure certainty.

Commitment brings it all together in which you do what is required and what you said that you were going to do.

This is also an area that many of us fall short on, especially when we're not honest with ourselves of what is required in order to achieve the outcome that we want.

Ask yourself:

* Do I have clarity to know what I want in my life and why it matters?

* What is the capacity and power required from me to hit the standards I've set for myself?

* What am I realistically willing to commit to so that I can have certainty in getting the results I desire?

With these 4 C's, you can really solve whatever it is that you are not creating in your life.

While securing one of my Brothers in Kokoro 45, I learned that one of the men had died shortly after the event was secured (finished).

The short time that I knew Kirk Deligiannis, he always had a smile on his face and was someone that LIVED his life.

I am reminded of the quote from William Wallace in the movie Braveheart that "Every man dies, [but] not every man really lives."

This tragedy has cased a lot of reflection in my own life, and to look at my own life, in which I'm ready to go if it's my time to go because I've been LIVING my life.

Do I want to leave my family and friends? Hell, no.

But there are 3 things that I've learned to ask myself to see if I'm living my life to the fullest:

  1. Be REALLY clear about what you want in your life
  2. Play full out, every single day
  3. Smile and have fun

The purpose of life is eternal expansion.

It's about living your life to the fullest.

We ALL die.

We are all on the path for death, but it depends on what we do with the life that we are given that determines the legacy that we will leave behind, if any.

We are not meant to dwell in doom and gloom with this knowledge that we're all going to die, but to life a life with PURPOSE.

Start WINNING your day EVERY SINGLE DAY.

Smile.

Breathe.

There's no need to be so uptight about life and get stuffy about the inevitability of death.

Ask yourself:

* Am I clear about what I want from my life?

* If life was like a game, am I a winning player?

* How can I enjoy my life more and have fun?

This podcast episode has been dedicated to Kirk Deligiannis, a man that lived his life as a winning player and to the fullest.

I grew up being taught that I shouldn't be proud of my accomplishments.

That I should practice humility instead.

That resulted in having to PRETEND to not allow greatness into my life.

Humility was defined as being quiet and not acknowledging the gifts that I've been able to acquire and share.

But do you know the real truth about it all?

This was really defined as a false sense of humility.

This false humility was self-damaging, in which in an attempt to be "humble," I was actually no longer allowing myself to FEEL GREAT.

I wouldn't acknowledge the greatness within me and how it could contribute to making my world a better place because it would then go through another false sense of self, which is that pride in one's self is wrong.

This false humility gets in the way.

Humility is an incredible attribute and characteristic, and when used correctly, it leads to learning that we can always be more through expansion.

When humility gets misused, it becomes damaging, because false humility forces us to play small.

We don't want to look like we're bragging.

As it states in Matthew 5:14-16, we need to "Let your light so shine, so that others may see your good works."

This false humility holds us back from truly succeeding to our full potential.

Those that are the most successful live their life in a powerful way by allowing their greatness to shine so that as they achieve their accomplishments, they make other people's lives better as well.

Powerful is NOT pretending that you're not great.

Don't pretend that you're not great!

If you're good at something, OWN IT!

There are so many powerful people that don't know that they're great!

Humility is knowing who you are.

When you know who you are, you are able to achieve greatness in an empowering way that builds you and everyone else up that is around you.

Humility is using your gifts and talents in a responsible and empowering way.

We create value for other people.

Powerful is being thankful; when someone gives you a compliment, allow yourself to accept it.

Humility is recognizing your greatness.

We can all play bigger and do more, but you know what else we can do?

We can CELEBRATE our greatness and reward ourselves for achieving our accomplishments.

False humility is brought about through fear: fear of appearing "too flashy" to others.

We need to make a commitment to shift playing small and overcoming the resistance to be proud in what we've been able to accomplish.

This isn't about becoming materialistic and worldly, but allowing yourself to play at the highest level, and allow yourself to serve other people. Part of that is in dropping your false humility so that you can play bigger.

Sincerely accept compliments and honor people by not burying your talents.

That is what true humility and success is made of.

Ask yourself:

* When was the last time that I sincerely accepted a compliment from someone?

* What area of my life am I great at that I have never allowed to go all in?

* What can I do to shift my perspective of what it means to be humble so that I am still able to achieve greatness?

Stop burying your talents, get rid of the false humility and LIVE THE LIFE THAT YOU WANT TO LIVE.

It's been a while since the last recording of a podcast, but I am ready to Rock n Roll!

So what do I mean by "win the day?"

Since it's now football season and you know how I love my football, let's use that as an example on how to approach life.

In the book by Bill Walsh The Score Takes Care of Itself,  he uses football as an analogy for business, which I've learned great principles from as well.

Can YOU do your job well enough that it allows you to play the game.

Oftentimes we set incremental goals that we want to get from Point A to Point B in various parts of our life, but then we

The Science of Getting Rich and Millionaire Mindset are great books, but if you're not willing to do your job and the work that's necessary, then you're not going to meet your goals.

If ALL you did was win the day TODAY, and then did that everyday, then your life is no different than a full winning streak a football team would have for their season.

It's about following through with what you said you're going to do.

The job is irrelevant; it's what you DO that matters.

By breaking the day up into 4 Quarters like in football, I am able to accomplish so much with a purpose.

I go into my day with a game plan.

All successful people do.

If you want to achieve success in your life, you MUST have necessary required actions (NRAs) that will help you achieve what you desire.

I call them my Daily ATMs:

ACTIONS

THAT

MATTER

When I hit each of these, I am one play closer to a touchdown, a winning result for the day. I get out what I put in. By moving along each quarter of my day with my Daily ATMs, the more consistent I remain, I can win the game.

I can win the day.

When you win the day, you can focus on winning the next day, which goes into the whole week, that transfers to the whole month, and so on.

What does winning the day look like for me?

I do what is that I say I'm going to do.

Say what it is that you're going to do and then GO DO IT!

When you do what winners do, you win.

Ask yourself:

* What is a small necessary action that I do on a daily basis already?

* What does winning the day look like for me?

* What is something that I can commit to and implement today to get me closer to where I want to be?

Live in a way that allows you to move powerfully towards winning TODAY. It's about taking small steps. #WINTHEDAY

I have a 13-year old niece that is ELITE in golfing, and is currently in the Junior World Championship golfing right here in Southern California.

She finished #8 today, making her part of the Top 10 percent IN THE WORLD.

Let that settle in for a minute.

At 13, she's at a higher level then almost everyone else.

So, what's the lesson to be learned about this?

How you see yourself is EVERYTHING.

In Tony Robbin's book, Awaken the Giant Withinhe talks about this concept of who we believe ourselves to be.

This story drives everything else in our life.

We all have roles and what others may think about us, but the moment that we see who we are on an individual level we will create results that we desire to have in our life.

When you realize that nobody can touch you, you will manifest that belief and live it.

You will take on a new story that you are the best.

You must be willing to make that declarative stance and take on that mantle, your certainty will bring confidence that you WILL get what you are meant to receive.

In order to get to an elite level, you've got to see yourself as the best in the world. It's a declaration: "I AM the best."

It's not enough to make the declaration to maintain certainty, but to build on the skill sets and competency in what you're doing.

Ask yourself:

* What story am I telling myself about who I am?

* What story have I been telling myself that will lead to greatness?

* What are the skills that I need to develop to back that up?

Choose today that you ARE that #1 person, and guess what's going to happen? You will behave that way.

Over the last 4 weeks, I haven't been able to do my workouts like I did before hurting my knee.

The biggest battle isn't even in being able to work out to my full, physical potential, but with my mindsets.

I have to battle against thoughts, doubts and insecurities ALL over again. Excuses plague me more than tight muscles.

And excuses will ALWAYS come up.

Your mind will believe them and twist things around with hidden meanings trying to get us to fail.

My mind wants to go into pity mode and is telling me to go eat ice cream instead.

I have to look at what it is that I truly want.

Sure, ice cream sounds nice, but is it what I TRULY want if I want my life to be lived as one with prosperity?

So what do I REALLY want?

I want a body that is a weapon and on fire, healthy and ready to take me everywhere I want to go.

Ice cream won't do that for me.

I NEED to get back into my workout and not wait.

My mind is so good at rationalizing about what it is that I want RIGHT NOW, I have to focus on doing the work that's necessary.

If the nice guy inside of me isn't going to get the results that I need, I need to bring the Dark Warrior out.

I've talked about this side we all have inside of us that is the coaching that we do for ourselves, and it's NOT nice.

This Dark Warrior bitch-slaps the results back into us that we committed to do.

He tells us to let it out channels the inner rage in order to get me to do the fucking work NOW.

I'm channeling that anger into something that serves me.

When I get moving, like in the book Power vs Force, the more complacent I get, the more I need to get pissed off  and wake the fuck up that I can do MORE and become better.

I KNOW WHAT I WANT, and life is too short to let excuses hold me back from the results that I desire to live the prosperous life I seek to maintain, uphold, and expand upon.

Ask yourself:

* What has been holding me back mentally from doing the work that I know is necessary?

* Where do I need to unleash the Dark Warrior from within in order to do the work?

* What are the steps that I can take TODAY to get me past the excuses?

It's required, even if it's imperfect, action that will get us the results that we need.

I recently shared a mini podcast about a grudge that accompanied a debt that I need to pay back for $18K.

Is that a lot of money?

Yes and no.

It depends on who's saying it, what you're spending it on, and how it affects your life.

If you are allowing $18,000 to dictate how you operate your whole life's happiness, by remaining stuck on not having it, is it worth it?

It's only money.

Do you understand what I'm saying?

My friend lost 7 YEARS of sleep, personal power and production because he let a grudge over money hold him back from confronting, resolving and moving forward.

Whether it's money or a person, there are experiences that we all go through and something to consider is to ask, "Is it worth it to me to hold onto the bitterness?"

For me, $18K out of $1 million+ wasn't as valuable to me as friendships.

How you handle anything is how you do everything.

Beating around the bush to bring something to someone else's attention is not done by powerful people.

Powerful people CONFRONT.

If something bothers you, tackle it head on and have the hard conversations. What you might find is that the conversation isn't nearly as hard as it is to maintain  the bitterness that comes from not confronting those whom you feel wronged you.

If it's not serving you and helping you become a better person, GET RID OF IT!

Don't fake it but face it, meaning that if you pretend that something doesn't bother you on the outside but it's tearing you up on the inside, have the courage to tackle it head on

Ask yourself:

* What am I still holding onto and continue making it a big deal?

* Where can I confront something in my life that has been holding me back?

* What will my life look like by no longer having that grudge hold me back?

If you lack something, let's confront it  with a direct conversation and move on.

Check it out.

I know that like me, we all have doubts, insecurities, negative thoughts and temptations that lead us against our true beliefs.

How do we overcome these thoughts?

It's not about CONTROLLING your thoughts...

You can't!

It's about recognizing patterns and surrounding your negative thinking with POSITIVE action.

How powerful is it that when you get consumed with negative thoughts, you shift that belief with a positive action?

Across the board, you can go and do the required work, even when you don't want to do it.

Surround the negative thinking with positive behavior.

If you can do that, you can take ANY negative situation and turn it around in your favor, creating an even greater result because of the positive action taking its place.

Ask yourself:

* Where have I allowed negative thoughts to consume me?

* What are some positive actions that I can maintain when faced with doubts and negative patterns?

* What good can come about from the turnaround I create by replacing negative thoughts with these positive actions?

When we create positive actions and results from what used to hold us back, we will create limitless opportunities for growth and prosperity.

I received an email from a close friend of mine that stated that he was going through his old emails and came upon one that I had sent him years ago about a promise that I made to pay back all of the money that I owed from when my life had hit rock bottom back in 2009.

I meant it then and I still mean it now that I will pay back the debts that I owe, but here's the point of that email:

Instead of confronting me about something that for 7 years this friend has had a grudge about, he used a passive aggressive tactic via email as a form of communication.

Instead of confronting me face to face for something that has been holding back his own growth, he resorted to an elaborate story of going through old emails and then sending one himself reminding me of the money that I owe.

For 7 years, this friend of mine has held a grudge because he thought that I took the money and then I never addressed it with him.

Yet not ONCE did this friend have the courage to confront me in person about what happened, even though we had dozens of face to face interactions since 2009 when I borrowed the money from him in the first place.

Are you holding onto a grudge from the past that in turn is holding you back from moving forward?

These bitter feelings have consumed him because he didn't confront me, which may mean that there are other things in his life that he also doesn't confront.

It is not worth it to hold onto the grudges from the past and address the issues that are holding us back.

This is what prosperity is about: confront and then move forward.

I know that I will pay back my debts, and so I have not been held back by this $18K debt that has been CONSUMING my friend because I haven't continually brought it up over the years.

Learn to let go of the grudge so that the real issue can be addressed.

Ask yourself:

* Where in my life am I holding back my own growth because of someone else's interaction with me?

* What is a grudge that has been holding me back from growth?

* What is an action that I can take today to address this grievance?

If there is something that is holding you back, address it. Don't let it consume you.

A few weeks ago I hurt my knee, and even the simplest movements were very painful.

I'm sure that you've hit plenty of hiccups in your life as well, and when this occurs, our thoughts go to a place of scarcity.

With negative thoughts, lies, focusing on the impossibilities, what we CAN'T do and operating with that frame of mind, we produce little to no action.

It becomes a battle to do the simple things once we fall into this pit of negativity.

I know that my mind is a liar when I get to this state.

I get asked within my mind, "What's the use?"

I've already failed, so why should I pick myself back up?

Because I want to live a life of prosperity, that's why!

I must surround my negative thoughts with positive actions.

DO SOMETHING!!!

If I don't do something, I end up getting NOTHING.

There's a piece of our brain that will always tell us that we shouldn't do anything.

Do it anyway.

There will be days of struggle.

It's inevitable.

Solutions don't magically come to us until we DO SOMETHING that will then create a deep momentum towards the results that we desire.

"Be ye doers of the word and not hearers only."

It's not too late.

There's got to be a part of you that can do something.

Always.

Listen to the part of you that states that you want specific results, and then do something.

Retrain your mind that wants you to do nothing and RISE UP.

Ask yourself:

* Where have I given up on something in my life because of a hiccup or trial that threw me off course?

* What are some positive actions that I could surround my negative thoughts with?

* What can I do today in my life that will bring results that I desire?

Be who you were born to be and take decisive action.

On a coaching call today, we had a conversation about seminar attendance by those who love to learn from others.

This gal that I was talking to attends all of these seminars, in fact, she's a serial seminar attendee, and yet she's STILL broke!

How are these things working for you if you're not seeing the results?

The programs only work if you live the content and apply it to your life.

Are you like that?

STOP THE MADNESS!

The revolution is about results and transformation, NOT being in bondage about the old.

If you don't think that it's a MUST to change your life today, than you're wasting everyone's time with your serial seminar attendance.

It's the same as creating a vision board and believing in the law of attraction but not doing anything with it.

If you fail to do anything with that which you learn, it's not the speaker, but YOU that is lacking in producing the results.

You will not see change until you refuse to live that serial existence you have become such an "expert" on.

Do you realize that you are simply an asshole behind closed doors when you don't apply what it is that you learn?

God didn't put us on this earth to be hypocrites.

The point of learning is to get results.

When you're ready to do something with those lessons that you've learned and live what it is that you know, THEN we can talk.

It doesn't do anyone any good to be mentally masturbating about topics if you don't do anything with it.

There's got to become a point that you say that  enough is enough.

GO DO WHAT IT IS THAT YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO.

Apply what it is that you learned to do.

If you want REAL wealth, health and spiritual connection, WAKE UP!

Do something different.

Quit attending seminars if you're not going to do anything with it.

Ask yourself:

* Am I the serial conference attendee and yet don't do anything with it?

* Why is it a must that I absolutely change my life today?

* What are some principles that I can apply that I have been learning about?

Get up off of your ass and do something about all of the principles you have been learning.

Did you ever meet an "askhole?"

You know, the type that asks questions, but never intend to do anything with it?

They think that they look good to others by asking lots of questions, but they don't even care about other people and don't intend to do anything with it.

Do you know the type?

Have you ever been an askhole yourself?

STOP IT.

Asking questions are a great part of living, but if you don't plan on doing anything with it, stop wasting your time and don't bother others with empty questions.

You're wasting other people's time.

You're also wasting your own time, and you're wasting your life.

Learn to ask better questions, genuinely seeking an answer.

Ask yourself:

* Where in my life have I been an "askhole?"

* What are some genuine questions that I could ask others?

* What is something I can do today to ask better questions?

If you're ready to do something about the questions that you ask, then go and DO what it is that you ask about.

We celebrated the 4th of July fireworks with my family, and fits were thrown all night (and not just by my boys).

There were many lessons about doing hard things.

And it didn't work.

I chastised my boys because they FORGOT by becoming short-sighted when we are not reminded of how much we really have.

"The Lord chastens those whom the Lord loves."

I tag-teamed with my wife and my boys learned that I REFUSE to have sons that are weak in body and mind.

Life is meant to have challenges; the luxuries that we have in life came at a cost. They were not given to us.

I reminded them, and I was reminded that "Remember, remember, that thou was once in bondage"

The Gali family does NOT fall down and die.

My boys need to understand that the lifestyle that we're creating cannot be an entitled one.

When we hit adversity, we strive to become stronger.

We have to learn how to go through life either the hard way or the easy way. The "hard things" that we do when we're exhausted and tired are easier than living an entitled life expecting life to be given to you, because eventually gratitude must be learned.

WE MUST LEARN TO BE GRATEFUL WHEN WE HAVE IT!

When we don't have something, it's AMAZING how grateful we become. We long and wish for that which we used to have.

Ask yourself:

* Where can I show more appreciation for what I currently have?

* Am I teaching my children to be grateful and displaying love in how I teach them?

* Where can I course correct immediately when I see myself or my family ungrateful?

Instead of living with regret for not being grateful, take time to step back and recognize the gifts that we're given who we have a life of plenty.

I am now 40 years old, and there are a few lessons that I wanted to share with you.

There's a Top 5 Lessons of Living for you, in fact.

Life is too short to play small and have regrets, especially when you know that you have been called to do great things (and here's a little hint: we ALL have been placed on this earth with this possibility)

So, without further ado, here you go:

First, when you have goals, you have a purpose behind why you do what you do. You have an end result motivating you to continue.

Write them down and share them with others.

Second, when you surround yourself with greatness, you will naturally raise your standards.

If you want to change your life, change your environment and those you associate with if they are not pushing you to become better than you were yesterday.

Third, when you have a coach or someone that is professional in a field that you are pursuing, you have someone giving you examples through leadership.

You can also be a coach; to someone somewhere in your life, you are a coach to someone and can make a difference in their life.

Fourth, don't be afraid to work hard. Surround your negative thoughts with positive action. You can get out of ANY situation through HARD WORK.

Don't be afraid to work hard and do hard things. It's not always sexy, but there is great value in knowing the importance of how to work hard.

Fifth, when you believe in a Higher Power, you know that you have a Higher Purpose. I believe in God, there is NO doubt about that because I have had too many experiences in my life that He has led people and experiences to help me become better.

I hope that you document some of your lessons that you have learned in your life as well and then record or document them for your posterity and others to learn from.

Ask yourself:

* What have I been doing that is an accomplishment in my life?

* Am I doing hard things that are allowing me to grow?

* How have the lessons in my life helped me become the person that I am today?

If you live a life that teaches you lessons, share what you have learned as a way of paying it forward and I guarantee you will see a turn around in prosperity!

When you have clarity, you are CLEAR about what you want.

More importantly, you know what it is you want and why is matters.

Yes, I've talked about clarity being power before, but it's a topic that needs to be looked at many times because we are constantly needing to get clear about where we are so we know where to go.

How do we do that?

Start where you are TODAY.

Take a look at your life: where you are with your body, your relationships in your home and business and your spirituality.

Do you like what you see?

If this assessment is a life that gives you purpose and puts a smile to your face, keep up the great work!

If there's an area that you're in a lose-lose game of, in which you never have enough or your relationships aren't where they are, knowing where you are gives you the foundation for moving forward.

Don't EVER settle for weak results.

Those that are content with not having success will not be able to prosper.

Guess what? The life that you're living today is YOUR responsibility. It's on you and gives you a clarity of direction.

How do get out of mediocrity?

You may need to get angry with where you're at and make the conscious decisions about what you want.

What's the measurable outcome? How would we know that you have arrived?

Life goes fast and life is short.

If you were to attend your own funeral, would you be happy with what was said?

Declare what it is that you want to create and what kind of life you want to live.

By declaring a bold, THIS IS WHAT I WANT and THIS IS WHO I AM you know where you're going, who you want to be and what you want to create.

Clarity gives you direction to move and grow.

It's time to go.

Ask yourself:

* Am I happy with where I'm at right now in all areas of my life?

* What do I truly want?

* Why do I want it?

If it's too difficult to state what you want, decide what it is that you DON'T want and go from there.

The greatest battles will be fought within the chambers of your heart.

I'm going through a Drift right now, which is a part of my darkness. I'm unsure about what direction I need to take.

When you are challenged and unclear about what road to take, there are some distinctions that occur in finding specific clarity.

Now, keep in mind that a Drift isn't a bad thing at all. It's an opportunity to discover a gift to uncover a divine gift and lesson to help us realign, recalibrate and shift.

When you're in darkness, be still. Instead of getting all riled up, maintain the path that you know will get you to the result that you want.

We cannot rely on the testimony of other people to get us out; we need to learn to be OK with going into Drifts after hitting success.

Be OK  with lighting the fire in the darkness, or in other words, you need to listen.

If we trust, we can light our own fire and brighten ourselves to shine our light as an inner peace.

Every great thing that has ever come about in my business has come after going through some major Drifts.

We all have challenging times and trials, but success comes from listening to the Voice, which means that we may need to give up some things.

I have all of these things that I'm doing right now within the last 6 months, and it'll be exciting to see what will happen in the next 6 months and beyond, but it also comes with its struggles.

It's OK if you're in a place that's lacking certainty. Your outcome may be in finding a way to light your way out of the darkness.

Life is too short to not live your calling and your purpose. The Drift will continue, but so will the gifts and revelations.

Ask yourself:

* Can I trust myself within the process of a Drift?

* What am I getting from this podcast?

* Can I light the fire within?

Even when you're in the middle of a Drift, when you truly know who you are, you will find the gifts and lessons as lights within the darkness.

The Reverend is going through a difficult time right now as I'm about to turn 40 in few days.

This isn't a bad thing, but still one that is teaching me a bunch of lessons in life.

I want to live the purpose that I have been called to live, but I have got to make decisions and choices when I'm actually feeling lost, uncertain and stuck.

I'm become caught in a Drift.

What is this? A mental state found within in which there are lessons to learn amongst a little bit of confusion and lack of clarity

So what do I do?

BREATHE.

Go ahead. Take a deep breath right now, through the nose.

You'll find that simply taking the time to breathe will sometimes give you enough time and clarity.

I also then ask, "Who am I and what is the purpose of my life?"

I know that I want to live a meaningful life, being guided by God. But I also refuse to hide behind the Drift.

Listen and you'll receive more as you ask the questions of who you want to bring into my life.

We all have our own challenges and Drift.

And that's OK. Drifts are not bad. It's a way to calibrate where we want to be in life.

When you Drift, don't beat yourself up about it; do these simple acts like breathing, listening/slowing down.

Be still and listen. Eventually you'll find the clarity and the answers brought on by the Drift.

Ask yourself:

* Who am I and who do I need to bring into my life to maintain?

* What is the purpose of my life?

* What do I want to create?

If the Voice doesn't speak, you still need to make a choice and MOVE. Can you listen and trust the answers that are inevitably coming within the Drift?

We've talked about injuries before, whether they are mental or physical, that affect the way that we live our lives.

As you know, I injured my knee a bit ago, and I have asked various doctors what to do and what tools to use, one of them as using a foam roller to do exercises, and what do you know?

IT WORKS.

Sometimes it's the simple things that bring the greatest results when we do them on a regular basis.

For me, it was using a foam roller every day.

The results came from small and simple things.

When I did what these professionals told me to do, these simple exercises have created results of being and doing.

For powerful people, it's all about speed and execution, taking whatever it is that they're advised to do and then THEY DO IT.

Every single day.

And it works.

By small and simple things, what a difference it makes, and yet most people don't want to do it.

Why?

Because it's TOO EASY.

Ironic, right?

Because of the simplicity and ease in what will help us the most, people don't think that it will work unless it's complex and instantaneous.

Maybe you already know what the small and simple things are in your life, but you're unwilling to do it.

DO IT NOW!!!!

It's the simplest things that make the biggest difference.

Ask yourself:

* Where am I content with having "good" mental stimulation?

* What's the "foam roller" that I've been avoiding because it's too simple?

* What small and simple thing can I begin implementing NOW that will help me achieve the results that I seek?

Small and simple things bring about great results, EVERY time.

I received permission from a dear friend and client of mine that has had to deal with cancer in his own life and was able to put it into remission until listening more to my client, my Brother, and found out that now it's his wife that caused cancer.

Powerful people deal with what's in front of them. They confront and start to talk about how they can learn lessons from whatever experiences are created in our life, regardless of circumstances you face.

Victims respond in a disempowered world of uncertainty.

Powerful people declare who it is they could be and then take actions towards that person.

I may not know what cancer is life, but I know what adversity is like. They have  a role to follow in making us even greater people.

Ask the questions that will empower you, and discover who you will have to become in order to become a beacon of light that others want to follow.

If you're a person that wants to create, build, serve and contribute, you want to make significant contributions to society.

In order to do this, you must learn to say NO.

There are 24 hours in the day, and if you crowd your schedule with too many Yes's, you will not be able to achieve the prosperity that you desire.

When you say NO to something, it's because you've already said YES to something else.

If you find yourself out of integrity and overcommitting, trying to please everyone, then you are weak. It's as simple as that.

If you want to create something big in your life that's significant and meaningful, you have got to say NO.

It never works to gain power if you don't do the things that you commit to saying that you're going to do.

Now, I get that this is a hard concept for some of you that are continually wanting to please others.

But if you want to have more power in your life, you have GOT to say no.

The simplest answer is No.

Sometimes that even comes in having to say no to the good things so that you can put your energy into saying yes to the great things.

When you say no, you're really saying YES to the things you love.

Ask yourself:

* Where can I say No more often?

* Where have I overcommitted?

* Instead of focusing on saying No to the good things, what are some of the great things that I could say Yes to?

Across all areas of your life, saying no to the things that hold you down, you're saying yes to the things that you're truly desiring.
