As we are approaching Memorial Day, I think about those that have come before us and how we celebrate the influence they have had in our lives.

Without a doubt, there is no way that I could enjoy the freedoms that I have without acknowledging our armed forces.

Thank you.

It is through their sacrifices, some giving all, that we are able to be free to become whatever it is that we strive  for.

I celebrate the victories that we have.

What are some of these?

My freedom, but also listening to the Voice.

It goes by different names, but is the same gift we are all given.

I listened to the Voice to visit my dad, so my family and I went on a road trip from Southern California to Utah, giving us an opportunity to connect.

Another victory that I celebrate is being able to have second chances.

Getting away from stories that it's too late and focusing on what CAN be done and waking up to what is most important.

There is a revolution that is MOVING on this earth to help us become the greatest version of ourselves. Yes, there are days that are going to be hard, where we don't want to do the work, but we all have a choice.

Our life will change when we look at celebrating the victories in our life.

Ask yourself:

* What can I celebrate today?

* Can I listen to the Voice today?

* What would happen if I begin focusing on the victories instead of the setbacks?

Life is about creating prosperity that brings success, joy, second chances, and rebuilding after getting back up.

While talking with a visiting family member, sometimes when you're visiting a place that's not your everyday environment, you have space to think, ponder, and dream about what kind of life that you want to create.

This happened with my family member, and he questioned, "I just don't know if God wants me to have that kind of life."

The reason we fail or succeed financially is because of our dominant paradigm that we operate from.

If we live with a paradigm that to prosper is materialistic, we limit ourselves from having it all.

When you operate from the paradigm of abundance, there's more than enough to go around. The self-interest helps people get what they want and in turn you get what you want. There's no shame and guilt in having an abundance of things because you've earned it.

How do YOU see the world?

Is the pain great enough for you to make some changes and challenge the perspective that effects the environment of where you live?

If you want to change and have a radical paradigm shift, you must find a way to GET OUT OF the area in which you dwell.

Prosperity is a choice.

If you change and choose your environment as you treat yourself differently, you will create an environment that you will see that you want.

The truth will set you free.

When you get real about where you are in life and choose something different, perspective is created from possibility.

I began to see how my coaches lived, and I WANTED to live how they lived. What you choose is what you get.

Ask yourself:

* Can I have the life I truly want?

* Will I choose something different today and stop being a victim of my circumstances?

* What can I do today to work towards a life of prosperity?

Get out of your comfort zone and study the lives of those that you want to emulate in your own life. Life is short, and there is a whole new level you can get to if you are willing to put in the effort to get there.

The difference between success and failure is one simple thing:

THOSE WHO SUCCEED AND HAVE SUCCESS ARE WILLING TO TAKE A CHANCE.

Those who fail never take risks.

After attending Russell Brunson's Mastermind for Click Funnels in Boise, Idaho, it wasn't cheap but brought with it some amazing new perspectives.

The majority of the room was filled with successful, powerful people. This realization showed me that I'm successful and powerful as well. We all have unique skill sets that are valuable in our own specific markets.

I saw this continual trend amongst those I was around, that whatever it is that they are succeeding inside of, they aren't afraid to take a chance.

When you are afraid of what people think and how they are going to judge you, just take the action anyways.

Looking at this honestly: do the opinion of others really matter?

Most people are more concerned about how they appear then they are in creating opinions of others.

It's lack of clarity and being unwilling to make a bold declaration that prevents us from creating success.

When we positively state what it is that we want and do the necessary work, we will be able to create whatever it is that we desire.

In two years, time has collapsed for me and become amazing because I became clear about what it is that I want.

There's a mindset of a champion and then the mindset of everyone else, in which fear dictates their lives.

Who do you see yourself as someone who is powerful? Who belongs and is worthy of surrounding yourself with greatness?

Ask yourself:

* What would happen if I stopped caring about what other people say?

* Where am I afraid of what other people think?

* Can I get clear about where I want to go?

If you don't see yourself as powerful, you will not be successful, so create a place of power from within first and foremost.

While visiting the founder and owner of ClickFunnels, Russel Brunson in Boise, Idaho, I participated in a Mastermind which I paid for to attend.

If you're not investing in yourself, which tends to require sacrifice, you will experience contraction instead of expansion.

If you don't use it, you lose it.

Did you invest the TIME?

Investments are not about how much money is spent, but the QUALITY in the time spent.

If you are not investing in your own coaches and ask someone to invest in you, how do you expect to invest in others?

So why don't you travel out of your comfort zone and go somewhere different?

There's no place like home, but you must be willing to explore and travel elsewhere in order to grow and expand your perspective.

I LOVE hanging out with people that have a greater capacity than I do, showing me through example how it looks to make daily investments in one's self.

Get out and meet more people.

I have been immersing myself in books written by former Navy Seals and the ultimate sacrifice that some have made in order to bring about freedom for others.

There's a problem for Christian men (I can't speak for the women out there) that we are not to go to war in order to avoid conflict.

There's learning, living, loving and growing in life, regardless of where it's come from.

We've got to be willing to go to war for when conflict occurs against us that is not in congruence with integrity.

It takes COURAGE to go to war.

What happens when we become more worried about rocking the boat and causing conflict when something doesn't feel right and we end up getting taken advantage of?

We get taken advantage of. We've got to be willing to challenge when we are willing to question and push our capacity.

What if all that we did is question and challenge?

Are you willing to go to war for what you believe?

It requires a straight-up call out when those that you work with or are associated with do not act out of integrity. Be willing to ask and question why they did something in order to get to the bottom line.

Let's call it what it is.

Are you still getting walked on or are you willing to have the straight-up brutal conversations? Are you willing to go to war to fight for what you want?

Ask yourself:

* Am I willing to go to war for what I believe?

* Do I have the courage to challenge something in life that doesn't feel correct?

* Where in my life do I need to have an honest conversation and call someone out, including myself?

Powerful people aren't concerned with pleasing people; they're concerned with results.

My wife's ride has been rough.

No, not in regards to our relationship....it's on her vehicle and the shocks are gone.

We were told that the shocks were good from one dealership and another one that said they were bad, which explains the rough ride.

Is one bad deal really worth it in the end?

IT'S NEVER WORTH IT.

Whether it's one transaction or five because you're completely out of integrity and your work will reflect that.

To save $1,500, that dealership will never receive business from me again.

Whatever you put out WILL come back to you.

If that dealership did that to me, I'm sure they've done it to other people.

What are you currently putting out?

Know that you cannot outrun it.

Whatsoever you sow, you will reap. It's the law of the harvest.

Look throughout every aspect of your life and see what you're currently putting out.

One sale can mean a lifetime of integrity. If you're putting that out, it's going to come out to you.

If someone does me wrong that's out of integrity, it reminds me to NEVER take advantage and lie to someone else. I know how it feels.

Ask yourself:

* What am I currently putting out?

* Do I seek a Higher Purpose and help create value for other people?

* Can people count on me?

If you want a life that brings you peace and helps you sleep at night, you've got to make sure that you've created maximum value.

A company flew me in today to speak to people from all over the world about becoming a Master Coach.

There's a simple principle that was shared today which is:

Start where you are.

What does this mean?

We're all in different places, so it's difficult to level up to what we think we need to be to even up the playing fields with others.

It doesn't work.

Why? Because we don't have the skill sets and experiences that elite players have.

Yet.

We have to start from where we are, and build up our opportunities, in order to become where we want to be.

The only way we can do this is first by starting where we are. Coaching takes a shift, however, because you don't start your coaching at where YOU are, but where your client is.

You don't need to hit home runs at the beginning, but take the required steps and actions in making your life better than it was yesterday; tomorrow you're stronger and more powerful then you were today.

This occurs through starting where you are, working towards what you want to become.

Step by step.

Every single day.

Ask yourself:

* What do I truly want to create with my life?

* Where do I need to stop comparing and start lifting from where I currently stand?

* What can I do now to help better myself for tomorrow?

If we take the time to begin lifting from where we stand, we will be able to accomplish monumental tasks.

I have a passion for coaching, and I was in one of my Mastermind calls with a powerful woman that sometimes doesn't see how powerful she is.

One of the great parts about coaching is that I have the ability to see in others what they may not see in themselves and in this case, we were talking about soccer.

She stated that she needs to practice grace and love on the soccer field, and wasn't able to get after her team the way that she needed to.

A powerful attorney, she felt inadequate out on the playing field.

I stepped in and felt the need to remind her that she is LEGIT.

What if showing love and grace was having the COURAGE to confront these people?   Showing them what they can't see.

Maybe it's about not playing small and having the courage to tell them that they can handle the truth behind their story that they need to work better.

When we change the story about something, we are able to look at the power behind  stepping up.

We all want to get pushed.

We suppress and behave based on stories, but if they're disempowering, we inhibit our growth.

What would happen if we just acknowledged that it's just a story? If we choose a different story that helps empower us and serve us, what could happen?

We believe our stories to be true, but do you want to know what?

It's just a story.

It doesn't mean that it's not going to be hard acknowledging that how we look at something may not be accurate, but when we uncover the truth, we will have freedom and growth.

In Byron Katie's book, Loving What Isif one gets into inquiry and asks, "Is it true?" we are unable to uncover the truth behind what we think is true. We find in many cases that it's just a story and not actuality.

Be honest about what you want and start to ask, "Is it true?" when you have feelings of guilt and shame that arise from the stories that you have been believing, in some cases, all your life.

Ask yourself:

* What stories have been holding me back from accomplishing growth?

* Is it true?

* What would life look like without that story in my life?

Anytime you're running a story that brings guilt and shame, ask yourself, "Is this true?"

I had a great early morning workout today.

I built up a routine that has been significant, in which the most powerful people that I know go to bed early.

Why?

The power is found in the early morning, setting the stage for the rest of the day.

With today's workout, we had a couple of different sets of things, and one of them was running.

I used to hate running, and now I love it.

When you learn to love the thing that you hated, the thing that was hated becomes fun and easy.

I'm constantly looking to level up my form.

In this case, it's in making this micro goals to achieve macro goals within fitness, but this principle can apply to all areas of our lives.

If you become the person who's always looking for ways to make small, incremental improvements, you'll find greater purpose.

Why does this matter?

You've GOT to find a way to get better EVERY SINGLE DAY.

No matter what happened yesterday, making today a bit better leads us to prosperity.

It doesn't take big outcomes; just small, daily tools of effectiveness.

It's amazing what happens when you find ways to gameify necessary tasks.

Great doors swing on small hinges.

Ask yourself:

* What is an area that I am able to accomplish tasks one bit at a time?

* How can I improve from yesterday, making today better?

* What is one thing I can do today to become better?

If you can find ways to get better, you will find yourself creating value for other people and give you your own edge.

I've been shedding some LBs, as in pounds, and I've been feeling great.

What's the next natural state? Well, for those that are perfect human beings, they stay the course, but for the rest of us, it's not that simple.

I had family come visit and ate more than I've eaten in a long time.

All of that overeating from the weekend made me feel like absolute crap the next morning when I went to do a workout.

I was not honoring my body, and I felt horrible. Literally. I didn't sleep well, I felt fat and like a total slob.

It wasn't worth it.

Why is this relevant? Physically, there are just some things that aren't worth it, whether it's alcohol, drugs, sugar, porn, or excessive carbs, it's all the same.

There are people that have these electrically charged barbed wire called addiction around our spines and our souls as we trade the things that we want most for the things we want now.

You've got to figure out what is non-negotiable and whether you're willing to follow through with them.

It requires integrity to remain consistent with your non-negotiable.

I'm not putting myself in a shame box; I'm learning from it, and moving forward.

I'm recommitting to getting back on board without shaming myself.

Life is too short to walk in guilt and shame, breaking your word and staying off track. Drop the stories that cause you to continue to stay complacent. Find what's non-negotiable and stick to it.

Ask yourself:

* What are some things that are non-negotiable in my life?

* Where can I recommit to benchmarks helping me move forward?

* What commitments will I recommit to?

If you've slipped up, get over it and keep moving forward. What is it within us that LOVES to beat ourselves up with the hammers of guilt and shame?

I created a benchmark to hit while training for Kokoro, and maybe some of you also make a big, audacious goal, and the first time around the result is getting your ass handed back to you.

That's what's happened to me!

What are the NRAs? What are the Necessary Required Actions to meeting a goal?

I have constantly asked myself, "Who do I have to become to meet this outcome?"

Even when seeking the answers, I try to find the reason to get OUT of my murph workout.

I set a goal that is SO big, it requires that I change everything that is within me, and I'm learning to push beyond it.

I'm fueled by my holy cause, asking "Am I committed to doing what's required?"

I learned that if I want to fulfill what God has told me to be, I will have to learn to push myself further.

When you hit threshold, you're going to have to PUSH past it. Finding a group of people and trainers to push and boost you forward.

I was tired but focused with this workout, and I succeeded.

What were my reasons to keep pushing?

To be the man that I told my family, my wife, my friends, my clients, and even here on this podcast that I said I was going to be.

Your mind is a liar and you can do SO Much more than you realize.

Just keep going, one foot in front of the other. and do the necessary work that you say that you're going to do.

Ask yourself:

* Am I committed to doing what's required?

* What excuses have I allowed to hold me back?

* ?

If you want something, go get it.

31 days ago I did a work out called Murph.

Why?

In order to complete Kokoro in September, I have to do this workout in under 70 minutes.

I did not even come CLOSE to hitting that goal the first time around.

And today, I did a Murph exercise again, and succeeded. eEven though right after I called one of my brothers to do it with me, I tried to find an excuse to not do it. But he showed up, and we worked together. I also made that decisions that the excuses weren't going to hold me back, so even if my boy didn't show up, I would complete the workout by myself.

Our mind will always look for reasons and excuses to get out of that which will force us to become better.

I went from over 80 minutes a month ago to 54 minutes today.

How did I shave 26 minutes off of my time?

I was really out of shape then, but I've been since training my mind and my body.

Why is this significant?

There's a benchmark of what I want, which requires me to change and become something different.

It's exciting to push myself past what I think I'm capable of, but it also scares me.

A month ago, my mile run was well over 10+, and now it's under 9. My calisthenics are getting done in half the time from where I started.

Across the board, when I seek to improve one area with big goals, it in turn brings power and expansive capacity in other areas of my life.

Experts get that way because they were amateurs that practiced until they got it right.

I've likened this to fitness, but across the board, this can become a reality.

As I've been preparing my body, every time I slow down, I learn to push even harder.

Ask yourself:

* Do I have any current targets and outcomes set for myself?

* What are some goals that are big and excite me?

* Why do these goals matter?

We need to decide on goals that excite us to become bigger, and then practice, practice, practice. When we surround ourself with greatness, we will succeed.

I LOVE talking with people, having open, real conversations.

I was speaking with a man today, and he admitted that he WANTS to change, but he worries about reverting back to his old ways a year from now.

I asked him, "Are you OK with that?"

No.

But if we don't do our part, there are natural consequences when we continue to stay disconnected and not do our part. It creates a cascading effect into all of the other areas of life when you don't have a real intent to achieve greatness.

There's a pattern that one thing effects the other areas, and you become a one dimensional douchebag.

What would it take to alter your life?

How intense does the pain need to be for you to finally make the change?

I didn't like that at this time last year, I was a fat slob. I hated it, but it took pain to get out of that state and make a change.

There's a cost I had to pay.

This cost affects all areas of my life until I do something different.

We see too many lives failing because so many are operating at 30-40%, ok with mediocrity.

Parents, wake up and be an example.

Start taking extreme ownership and responsibility before something drastic happens in order to wake you up and make a change.

Don't wait for something crazy, just do the work. NOW.

Stop waiting.

Ask yourself:

* What is the cost of holding myself back?

* What would it take to finally make a change in my life?

* What is something I can do today to avoid the extreme consequences?

There is an enormous cost at living a life at 30-40% instead of going all in. What's the cost of remaining in this one dimensional life?

Since kindergarten, I wanted to be a football player.

It was a STRONG desire.

There may be some things that I desire, but are not realistic. But when it came to football, I had a deep fire inside of me to do what was required.

Growing up, I worked hard and eventually became an NFL player.

After I retired, those desires shifted, and in my case, I wanted to impact people and make great money doing it.

I didn't really fit in because of these desires, but it didn't take away from the impact these desires had on me.

I even prayed for God to remove these desires from my heart because it was so strong. But He had other plans, and I'm so grateful for it.

What is my desire?

To teach a lesson of empowerment.

The desires of my heart have been to live a life of contribution, loving, and making a difference.

I can't believe that I used to want to suppress these desires in order to "fit in."

It's the desire to create and make a difference that needs to be enhanced, NOT passions that need to be bridled because they don't serve you in the long run (like eating a whole chocolate cake because you desire it).

Don't take this topic on desires out of context.

Don't suppress the desires that serve you and others:

  1. Be real about what you want
  2. Be willing to share those desires with other people
  3. Poor gas on it and immerse yourself in attaining your desires

I am striving for greatness. In the story of Zappos, one man achieved the same kind of greatness that I desire, and so I study and immerse myself in creating my own version based off of that inspiration.

Stop suppressing and playing small.

Ask yourself:

* What are some real desires that I have of the heart?

* What stories have been holding me back from achieving these desires?

* What is one thing that I can do today to make a step toward living a fulfilling life?

If you want to live a life of making that which you a desire a reality, immerse yourself in it and do the necessary work required and you will achieve greatness.

Goal setting is so FUN.

We set them over New Year's, for money, workouts, whatever the case may be.

When I see someone achieving results, getting really clear, they create a vision board and set outcomes.

What most people don't realize is that they don't define what's necessary and required in order to achieve this outcome.

Writing down what's necessary and required is crucial in making a vision and goal become a reality.

In the business world, necessary and required actions is termed as NRA, but many don't really know what that means.

If you want to create a life of prosperity with results, you've got to declare what you want and desire, then ACT ON THEM!

You have to DO THE WORK, every day.

If you haven't written down in specific detail what is required, you're just kidding yourself in getting your NRAs accomplished.

In order to achieve my outcome for Kokoro 45 in September, there are certain NRAs that are crucial in achieving this, such as getting mentally strong and change my stories as well as adjust my eating lifestyle so that I'm fueling my body as it becomes a weapon.

In regards to my relationship with my spouse, we're continually checking in, specifically taking time to spend with each other.

One person's NRAs is going to be completely different than your's.

Ask yourself: Ask yourself:

* What are my NRAs?

* How can being clear by defining my outcomes help me achieve what I want?

* What can I do today to bring further clarity to what it is that I desire?

If you haven't defined your NRAs, you're not going to get what you desire. Once defined, there's no doubt that you can have a lifestyle that you love.

It was one of those great yet exhausting days training.

I was tapped out and could feel fatigue coming, but today was significant because I was a scientist with my workout.

I experimented with paying attention to what my body was doing.

Powerful people tell empowering stories and they tell the truth.

"If any man will do the Father's will, he will know of the doctrine." --Jesus from the Bible

It requires consistency in establishing a routine as you try it on. My life has been changed when I try things on with pure intent.

We are ALL scientists and creators, but it requires doing our part as we keep testing and trying it on to see if what we're doing works or needs to be adjusted.

Ask yourself:

* What am I willing to try on today?

* Am I willing to see what works by trying things on?

* What can I do today to add something into my life consistently?

You will never know how good you are at something without trying it on.

I started using Facebook back in 2008 or 2009, and it's been a fun way to stay connected to the world.

I use it as an online journal that allows me to interact with others.

There's nothing wrong with Facebook but one the past year it's become a merry go round of craziness in which I was more focused on "likes" than spending time with my family.

I kept hearing the Voice tell me, "Back off of Facebook."

I saw the cost and consequence of social media when we were doing things together as a family.

What kind of life is that?!

Instead of spending time with real, tangible people that matter the most to me, my wife and kids, I was constantly looking down at my phone.

These last few weeks I've been cutting back on my time I spend on Facebook, and the results have been AMAZING.

By setting parameters around my use of social media, I have been able to cut the addiction that had been consuming me.

Clarity is power.

The more clear you are about the what and the why and the when, the more powerful your life will be.

Instead of being involved, all around me parents are sedating while looking down on their phones, ignoring their children, and I was one of them.

Now, I play games with my children, but I had to get clear about what I want.

How can you do this?

You must be clear about where you want to go.

Facebook was created to follow someone else's agenda. There's a time and a season for everything, whether it's watching sports, mind-numbing binge watching TV, gambling, or anything taking away from what you truly want.

Ask yourself:

* Do my actions today empower me to truly live and be present?

* Where have I been sedating myself with social media?

* What will I do when the Voice is telling me to cut something off?

Know that the path you walk on is more than just waking up, going to work, addicted to your phone, and going to bed.

It was a DIFFICULT morning for me today. My body is still trying to get used to maximizing training & recuperation together.

Today I had to just keep moving, like in an analogy of just chopping wood, as tedious and tough as it is, one movement at a time.

The only real person that I'm competing against is myself.

Most people don't treat their body will respect, love and honor; they treat it like garbage, then wonder why they're struggling. How we treat our bodies MATTER.

I've been testing intermittent fasting with my food intake, and it's been a process in making it a lifestyle change.

In your spirituality, consistency everyday will allow you to become connected with your Higher Purpose.

By spending the weekend with my family over the weekend and not on social media, I was reminded of how awesome it is to be PRESENT with my loved ones.

Within business, it's game on and you've got to chop wood everyday by looking at your marketing strategies and building the business.

The biggest thing that holds us back from chopping wood are our stories.

Just start chopping wood everyday: do date nights with your spouse, read books that will bring revelation, eat food that will turn your body into a weapon, and do the work required for business consistently.

There's a time and season to everything.

Ask yourself:

* What would happen on those days I just didn't feel, and I just pulled through?

* What's something consistent I can do to bring out more of my Higher Purpose?

* How can I be more present today?

The biggest thing that holds us back from chopping wood are our stories, but if we do the necessary work everyday, we will hit our mark and live a prosperous life.

I've talked often of hearing, listening, and feeling the Voice.

Let me make something very clear; the Voice is an action-based experience. The Voice knows whether you're asking out of curiosity or if you're sincere about taking action and following through.

You will not be prompted if you're not willing to be nudged forward.

If you have no intention of taking action, STOP ASKING.

If you're willing to listen to your inner compass, than you're ready to take that feeling that you get (which is what I call the Voice) and act on it.

Have you ever gotten these sudden stroke of ideas or very clear thoughts combined with feelings to go and do? That's the Voice my friend.

I want you to experience the safety, power and guidance of the Voice, being moved and influenced forward that eternal expansion in making a difference in other people's lives.

I always saw myself as somebody that could make a difference in other people's lives, but it required making a move. Literally. I ended up moving from Utah to California, taking a leap of faith because I was listening to the Voice, and it's what I did.

I took action immediately, and continually asked God, "If this is what I'm supposed to do, I'm ready."

Because I was very clear about what I wanted to do, I found a house after weeks of searching, knowing immediately that it was the right one.

God honors that which we desire, but sometimes there are things that are far greater than we can even imagine. The Voice propels us forward and provides a way.

There have also been times that the Voice has told me what NOT to do, telling me through feelings "Do not do this."

When I don't listen, I suffer the consequences.

There are times when you KNOW that you need certain people in your life, surrounding yourself with a certain environment.

20 years ago I came home from serving a church mission, and I put speakers in my car, ignoring the Voice telling me not to do it, and a week later, I came out to my car and found extensive damage to my car after the speakers and hundreds of CDs were stolen out from my car.

When I'm clear and confident in listening to the Voice, I'm protected.

I love talking to people and being taught.

I love being pushed and pushing others to a greatness that even they aren't aware they can achieve.

If someone tells me that they're all in, they tell me that they desire having a life that on a scale of 1-10, they are a 10, or in other words the highest percentage they can obtain.

With commitment, there's not mediocre rating; you're either a 10 or a 2.

Avoid the one dimensional, flat man living of not doing what you ay that you're going to do.

Don't ever catch yourself committing to a 7 or 8; there's no such thing as success on those levels.

The only level to be rated on by going all in.

If you want to create a life that you want, then commit to a 10 approach to life. Quit lying that you want something when you're not committed.

There are NO finish lines in the came.

Stop complaining and blaming while you refuse to operate on the level 10 commitment.

Like many of you that have given up, I've been there; LEVEL UP!

Ask yourself:

* What do I need to do to level up in my life?

* Where have you been playing the Blame Game complaining others for your lack of commitment?

* What can I do today to commit in an area that I hadn't committed to before?

I'm DONE working with people that are not level 10 commitment.

I went on a power hike with one of my brothers today in which we were running and doing push ups, running and then hiking, and I found that I was able to do more, longer, than I've ever been able to do before.

Confidence and certainty have become part of my mindset and training. I know that I've been doing daily, necessary required actions and so I'm seeing the results.

Physically I can do more than I've ever been able to do in my life. Why is that?

Because I've been doing the work EVERY SINGLE DAY.

The greatest empires are built one day at a time. This applies to all area of your life.

Line upon line, precept upon precept, it's about natural growth progression one step at a time, every single day.

There's no finishing line in this Game of eternal expansion; it's accomplished one day at a time.

Ask yourself:

* Where are you screwing up the most?

* What is something that I can take, one day at a time, to bring me closer to what I want?

* Where in my life can I stop swinging from the fences and take everything one step at a time.?

Learn from the past and leave it there, then take life one day at a time.

July 2015.

My boy Jesse Ewell comes to town, looking more like a Comic Book Super Hero than a regular humanbeing. I took a picture with him, and looking at who I was then towho I am today, and it's AMAZING how losing 45 lbs has effected mecoming into May 2016.

So let's talk about losingweight.

The starting five pounds get shedfrom implementing a new lifestyle of good foods and healthyroutines.

Step by step, we implement morechallenges and routines into our life so that we can make adecision to have a completely different lifestyle by shifting thehabits that put the weight on to habits that will take the weightoff.

It takes work.

Believe me, I know. This is my 4thon the weight loss yo-yo, and now that I'm in my 40s, my body isn'tEVER going to go back to being over 300 pounds.

Why?

Eventually, you get so TIRED ofbeing tired, that you need to decide, "I'm done."

That's exactly what happened to meafter seeing myself next to a specimen of a man like my boyJesse.

It hurt to see how far I had let mybody slip.

However, sometimes it takes pain tokick us into gear to implement change.

For me, it was with my body, butthis perspective shift can apply to any area of your life, whetherit's your spirituality, family relationships, orbusiness.

The crazy thing is that when youchannel your Dark Warrior to get angry and pissed off enough tocall a life that is not bringing you fulfillment, you choose andthen commit to increase your mindset and knowledge.

Stop worrying so much about fatshaming and worry more about the truth. Yes, it'll be hard thewhole way, but when we learn to focus on the truth, the resultswill continue to follow.

Ask yourself:

* What area of my life isout of shape?

* What decision have I beenavoiding in becoming a master over?

* What can I implement TODAYtowards a healthier lifestyle?

There's a price that you have to payin order to achieve the life that you want tolive.

I recently watched a video about howsocial media is killing happiness. People are more willing to buildrelationships with people in the virtual world instead of face toface.

What's causing you to get addictedand sucked into the void of virtuality?

All around us are people addicted totheir smartphones and tablets. So many are looking down instead ofinto each other's eyes.

Prosperity is NOT being addicted toyour phones and binge-watching Netflix.

There's a time and a place to workout, watch a television show, deep clean your home, go for a hike, but we need to acknowledge that we need to not

When we live according to fallacy,we lose. We have no chance of winning.

Once something becomes asedation tool, it becomes an addiction and takes us away from thatwhich is most important in life.

There's nothing wrong withtechnology, it's a beautiful tool, but if you allow black out timesthat are technology free, you'll be able to stay clear about thatwhich is most important, which are the relationships in ourlives.

Get clear and create that plan bygetting off the stands in life and no longer being a spectator buta player in life.

Just got back from a trip visiting family in Las Vegas, but as beautiful as it was to see family, I was really sick.

I've been training hard with my workouts, but when I was that sick, I rested.

That's not how it always was; I used to believe the false beliefs that despite having an achy body that was run down, I had to continue to perpetual myth that I had to work out just as hard as ever.

So, I changed my workout plan, and rested instead of working out these last few days, and my body feels SO good because it got the chance to rest.

If you do not recuperate, you do not rejuvenate.

You'll end up losing the momentum that you had gained and regress from where you were able to build. You've got to take some time for YOU, and one way I did that was by resting.

When was the last time that you stopped and took the time to rest?
